My First Trip



to the US (:



i visited Boston, where houses were mostly red bricked



and there was this FANTASTIC dessert place in Boston's 'little italy'



where i went crazy (photo taking that is) haha.



across mike's pastries was the little diner we went to for delicious lobster pasta



it was really yummy, quite evidently (:



but the most expensive dishes in the world couldn't beat my best friend's (healthy) cooking- brown rice! i don't even eat that back in singapore. haha



Boston was full of animals. i saw a squirrel in a park and it looked like it was posing for a picture and so i did



i also went whale watching where i had a whale of a time, besides feeling sea sick midway through the trip



and there i saw mooses too; where i went crazy (shopping).



i also later went to NYC.

and guess who i bumped into there? ;)



view from the empire state building- the lights the lights the lights! breathtaking.



night attractions aside, i visited a few islands in the day; the famous liberty island (:



looks familiar? haha, how much more touristy can i get?



i also visited coney island



where the annual hot dog eating competition takes place.



Last but not least, my pilgrimage to White Castle. haha. only because harold and kumar went there ;p

my biggest regret though, was not being able to catch belle and sebastian in concert while in nyc. tickets were sold out. sigh :(
